Terms and Conditions of Use – Biosphere Rocks
1. Purpose of the General Terms
These General Terms of Use (GTU) are intended to establish the rules for accessing and using the services provided by the Biosphere Rocks platform. Acceptance of these terms is required for access and use.
Biosphere Rocks and Bios Rocks refer to the same legal entity. The name “Bios Rocks” is a shortened version used primarily for communication and within the context of our social network.
2. Services Provided
Biosphere Rocks provides tools for the participatory funding of environmentally impactful projects, using smart contracts, blockchain technology, and a climate DAO to ensure transparency, traceability, and democratic governance.

- Ideas (10% commission + transfer and gas fees)
- Boutique (10% commission + transfer and gas fees)
3. Registration and Use
Registration is open to companies, projects, and foundations committed to environmental impact. Each user is responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and for proper use of their account.
4. Data Protection
In accordance with the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Biosphere Rocks guarantees the confidentiality and protection of users’ personal data. No data will be shared with third parties without explicit consent.
5. Fundraising and Tax Certificates
Users may raise funds transparently through the platform. For French and European entities, tax certificates may be issued based on contributions to certified projects, provided this functionality is active. This feature is not yet in force.
6. Responsibilities
Biosphere Rocks is not liable for mismanagement of funds by project creators. Users are responsible for the use of collected funds, which must comply with applicable laws.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the platform (texts, images, videos, logos) is protected by intellectual property rights. Use or reproduction without written permission from Biosphere Rocks is strictly prohibited.
8. Modification of the Terms
Biosphere Rocks reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Users will be informed via the platform or by email.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These GTU are governed by French and European law. In the event of a dispute, the competent courts of Paris shall have jurisdiction.
10. Security
Advanced security measures are applied to protect both user data and funds. Users are required to comply with these measures to ensure account safety.
11. DAO Participation
By joining the Climate DAO, users agree to abide by community decisions and to contribute transparently and democratically to projects.
12. Environmental Commitment
All supported projects must generate a positive environmental impact. Any false statement about environmental impact will be subject to penalties.
13. Fees and Commissions
Applicable fees and commissions are detailed in the “Services Provided” section. Users accept these fees by using the platform.
14. User Conduct
Any inappropriate, fraudulent, or harmful behavior on the platform will result in account suspension or deletion, without prior notice.
15. Legal Compliance
All users and projects must comply with applicable local, national, and international laws, especially concerning environmental protection and participatory financing.
16. Termination of Service
Biosphere Rocks may suspend or terminate any service at any time, with or without notice, in case of violation of these terms.
17. Dispute Resolution
In the event of a dispute between users and the platform, Biosphere Rocks will seek an amicable resolution. If no agreement is reached, the dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Paris.
18. Communication
All communication with users will be made primarily by email. It is the user’s responsibility to provide a valid address and check messages regularly.
19. Limitation of Liability
Biosphere Rocks is not responsible for financial losses or direct or indirect damages resulting from use of the platform.
20. Acceptance of Terms
By using the Biosphere Rocks platform, you unconditionally accept these General Terms of Use.

What is Bios Rocks?
Bios Rocks is the social network of Biosphere Rocks, designed for a community focused on sustainability, ecology, and social impact. It uses technology to promote transparency, collaboration, and traceability.
How does it work?
- Register through LinkedIn to validate your professional identity.
- Interact in the posts section with ideas, discussions, and collaborations.
- Create an idea to solve a social or environmental problem.
- Receive support via Credit Card, Crypto, or BIOS.R.
- With 50 supporters contributing a minimum of $1 each, your idea can become an initiative.
- Our team reviews and publishes initiatives.
- Funds raised are transferred to a smart contract for execution.
Can I lead an initiative?
Yes. If you have the experience, you can lead the initiative. If not, the community can help you build the right team.
What is the Boutique?
It’s our international store where sustainable companies, startups, and foundations can sell their products and services. You can list your offerings through Biosphere Rocks.
What is BIOS.R?
BIOS.R is the native utility token of our ecosystem, based on the Polygon network. It is not a financial asset. It can be used to:

- Participate in weekly challenges
- Be earned or donated

We estimate and publish the environmental impact of initiatives, startups, and foundations within the ecosystem.
What is the News Section?
An interactive space to share news, forums, and analysis on ecology, sustainability, startups, and technology.
How does agreement creation work?
- Upload a PDF or image file representing the agreement
- Store it on IPFS via Web3.Storage to obtain a CID
- Input the participants’ addresses
- Pay 1 USDC + gas on Polygon
- Register the agreement via smart contract (NFT issued)
- Viewable on OpenSea or any compatible NFT explorer (e.g., polygonscan.com)
Who owns the NFT?
- The creator (uploader and payer) is the initial NFT holder
- The NFT is issued to their wallet
- It can be viewed on platforms like OpenSea using the contract address or tokenId
What is Prohibited?
Any behavior that contradicts the core values of Biosphere Rocks—integrity, sustainability, inclusion, and transparency—is strictly prohibited. This includes but is not limited to:
- Fraudulent or deceptive actions
- Manipulation of results or support
- Publishing content that promotes greenwashing
- Impersonation of individuals or entities
Violations will be assessed rigorously and may result in permanent account suspension. Severe breaches may be reported to the relevant authorities in accordance with European Union and French law.
